Metaponto Golf Club born in 2000
Metaponto Golf Club was born in 2000, second Riva dei Tessali Resort championship course and first Basilicata course.
The course have been opened to golf since 2002, designed by the architect Marco Croze is nestled in a lush citrus grove.
A par 72 surrounded by an open and long path with wide fairways, undulating greens and water hazards.
Among the most beautiful holes there is the hole 7, a par 5 of 450 meters with a large lake bordering the fairway up close to the green; the hole 14, a par 4 of 375 meters dogleg right with a second stroke downhill and a channel protecting the green entrance.
A few minutes away there is the Riva dei Tessali course, par 71, designed by John Harris British study, which twists and turns through a pine forest just a few meters from the sea.
Club House and placed in the middle of a 80-acre farm turned into a beautiful 18 championship hole golf course.
The Club House, made out of a nineteenth-century white charm farmhouse, is located in the middle of a 80-hectare farm. On the first floor there are four refined superior rooms and one suite, all with terrace overlooking the course and amenities, including satellite TV and hot tub.
Guests can also enjoy a sauna and all other facilities, a few kilometers away from Riva dei Tessali Resort private beach.
The Masseria restaurant (+39.0835.748916) serves traditional local food, prepared with products of our land, discovering all flavors of the past.
